It is a special honor and pleasure for me to be able to greet you as the Consul General of the Republic of Serbia in Trieste, a city of exceptional historical significance for the Serbian people. Many cultural, educational and spiritual creators of our people lived and worked here, and the mark that the Serbs left in the city of Trieste is still visible today at every step. The ties between Italy and Serbia go back a long way and today are woven from mutual trust and comprehensive cooperation through the strategic partnership of our two countries. The Consulate General of the Republic of Serbia in Trieste, with jurisdiction over the regions of Friuli Venezia Giulia, Veneto and Trentino Alto Adige, certainly contributes to this cooperation.
